Where to park in Baunei and how to get around
Baunei is a small village: finding parking downtown is usually easy, even in high season. Trail and cove parking lots are a different story and need a bit of planning.
Parking in the village
Baunei has several free street-parking areas in the old town and side streets. No paid zones, no traffic restrictions.
Our guests park for free in front of the property, on Via San Pietro.
Golgo parking (for Cala Goloritzé)
9 km from Baunei on a paved scenic road. Paid parking (about €5–10/day), privately run. In high season it fills up by 9 am.
Solution: start at dawn or use the summer shuttle from Baunei in July–August.
Pedra Longa parking
Small lot at the end of the road, free but limited. Arrive early morning or late afternoon for the sunset.
Getting around without a car
Public transport is sparse: a few buses to Santa Maria Navarrese, none to Golgo or the coves.
Alternatives: summer shuttle, local taxi, boat tours from Santa Maria Navarrese. A car is still the most practical option.
